Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Clause for Roadrunners After Dark

By participating in the Roadrunners After Dark event, attendees acknowledge and agree to assume all risks associated with participation in the event, including but not limited to physical injury, food-related allergies, and any unforeseen accidents. The Roadrunners After Dark event fosters a safe and inclusive environment for students at MSU Denver/Auraria Campus and community members across the Denver Metro area, with activities such as games, food, and giveaways. While every effort is made to ensure a safe experience, attendees voluntarily participate and assume full responsibility for their health and safety.

In consideration of attending the event, participants agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Metropolitan State University of Denver, event organizers, volunteers, and sponsors from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from any incident that may occur during or as a result of their participation in the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. This waiver applies to any and all activities related to the event, including transportation to and from the event venue.

By attending, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability.

Will there be parking/what is the parking situation?

Yes, parking for students will be at the $8.00 if you are registered with AHEC. Community members will need to pay the full $30.00 to park.

Will there be food?

Yes, we will be having 4 food trucks and 2 dessert stations. All will require credit card payment.

Do I need a ticket?

Yes, you and anyone you are bringing to the event will need a ticket upon entry.

Can I bring non MSU Denver guests?

Yes, they will need to purchase a ticket for $5.00

Will there be bathrooms?

Yes, they will be located inside the Tivoli Student Union.

Will the night market be cash or card?

Only card payment will be accepted

How long will the event take place?

From 5:00PM-9PM, doors will be open at 4:30PM, 8:45PM is when doors will close

Can I bring my own food and drink (water)?

Yes, but no alcohol permitted

What is the weather plan/back up?

We will be in the Auraria Event Center and will announce 24 hours before event whether location will be moved

Do I need to bring my student ID?

Yes

Will there be a pick up and drop off zone?

9th street and Walnut

Can I re-enter if needed?

Yes, with a wristband

Bag policy:

No alcohol, no weapons, no drugs - there will be a bag check at the door

Will there be a lost and found?

Yes, at the FAQ table. However, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items not turned in.

Will there be anywhere I can leave my things?

No

If I lose or damage my wristband can I get a new one?

No
