Humans use the natural world to explain the human one, yet at the same time impose their values and assumptions onto the world around them.
Queer ecology works to shed light on the reality of interactions in the wild, as flora and fauna exist in ways that subvert, disprove, and challenge these assumptions. Hike the mountain to learn about queer ecology, discover examples in the wild, and make connections to identity.
- This walk is intended as a space exclusively for queer-identifying participants, offering a supportive environment to connect with each other and the land.
